Broa de Milho (Portuguese Corn and Rye Bread)
Originating in the 12th century, Broa de Milho is a Portuguese corn and rye bread traditionally made in Portugal, Galicia, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, and Brazil. This bread is an excellent accompaniment to soups such as caldo verde or açorda but can also be served with olives and/or butter.
