Produced on the island of São Miguel, Queijo Ilha São Miguel is made from pasteurized cow's milk.  Cured for 9 months, this cheese has a firm texture and has a sharp taste with a slight hint of spice.  Known by its distinctive black rind, each cheese is individually wrapped and packed with flavor.
